Visitor Policy

LAUSD VISITOR POLICY
 
1) No person shall visit or audit classroom or other school activity, nor shall any 
person remain on Los Angeles Unified School District premises, without the 
approval of the principal or authorized representative.
 
2) No children shall visit or audit classroom or other school activity, nor shall any 
children remain on Los Angeles Unified School District premises, without the 
approval of the principal or authorized representative.
 

CASTLEBAY LANE CHARTER VISITOR POLICY
 
1) All visitors and volunteers must sign in at the main office.
 
2) All visitors and volunteers must obtain a visitor's pass as approved by the Principal 
and main office. Without a pass one cannot enter the campus.
 
3) During instructional periods, visitors may not drop off materials (lunches, 
homework and other school equipment) to students. Items must be left in main 
office. Students will be called to pick up the materials. 
 
4) When picking up a student early from school, visitors may not go to classrooms to 
retrieve students. Students will be called to the main office to meet visitor. 
 
5) Visits to the classroom should be limited to 20 minutes and must not interfere with 
classroom instruction.  
 
6) Volunteers must obtain permission from the classroom teacher, prior to
